People's Sketch Association

People's Sketch Association is the recipient of the 2010 INNY Award for "Best New Sketch Group". PSA is a group of renegade writers, actors, directors and designers brought together by a shared belief that theatricality, production value, and the form of sketch comedy are not mutually exclusive. They have brought their new edition of wacky, theatrical and clever sketch comedy to many of the cities best comedy venues including: The Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theater, The People’s Improv Theater, Sketchfest and The Tank. PSA is Todd Briscoe, Nick Carillo, Brad Mielke, Kim Rosen, Ariana Seigel and Emma Tattenbaum-Fine. The members have performed onstage with The Williamstown Theater Festival, The Public Theater, Atlantic Theater Company, the Culture Project, Joe’s Pub and have studied with professionals such as Kathleen Turner, Judy Gold, Tony Nominee Elizabeth Swados, Andrea Martin, Liz Tucillo and more. You can catch them at their monthly run at The People's Improv Theatre (PIT). In addition to sold out shows at some of New York City’s hottest comedy venues, their video, "72 Virgins" is a FunnyorDie "User Pick" - so check out their online work at PsaSketch.com
